(Get Your Kicks On) Route 66 est un classique de la chanson américaine et du rhythm and blues. C'est une chanson qui a été écrite par le compositeur Bobby Troup, alors qu'il se rendait à Los Angeles en voiture. Cette chanson est un hymne à la Route 66 dont le refrain aurait, selon la légende, été écrit par sa femme Cynthia. A l'origine le morceau a été interprété par le crooner Nat King Cole, qui en fit un tube en 1946.
